Located at 5100 Avalon Blvd, Alpharetta, GA 30009, Kona Grill - Alpharetta operates as an american restaurant serving Alpharetta in Georgia. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Kona is right next to the Regal theater in the Avalon. I visited this establishment yesterday evening with a buddy of mine to grab dinner and was highly pleased with it being my first time there. We had an amazingly sweet, funny and beautiful waitress named Julianna! Where we were originally sat by the hostess we were in direct sun. Julianna took it upon herself and she quickly moved us to the opposite side of the restaurant where it was more shady so we'd be more comfortable and not grilling in the sun. She was highly attentive and helpful informing us all about the menu. She suggested we try the "Chicken Satay" appetizer which are chicken skewers with a Thai peanut sauce and cabbage slaw! That dish alone was an absolute hit with the flavor alone. I could have easily eaten way more they were that good. My buddy got the BBQ flatbread while I tried the Steakhouse Burger to which were both pretty tasty. The drinks were great as well! The fact that they were extremely busy thanks to Julianna we were well taken care of and she made the experience great! We even signed up for the Kona rewards as well that she informed us about! Overall, the service was A1 along with it being a phenomeno

This was an extremely disappointing experience. We clearly and specifically requested NO BACON on our salad, yet it was served with bacon anyway. This is not a minor mistake. Restaurants have a responsibility to follow customersโ€™ dietary instructions, whether they are due to allergies, religious beliefs, or personal preferences. Ignoring a clearly stated request demonstrates a lack of attention to detail and raises concerns about the kitchenโ€™s food handling practices. If such a simple instruction cannot be followed, it makes customers question how other special requests are being handled

It was an absolute pleasure to be a guest of Miss Megan. The food was so delicious and the service was extraordinary. We just loved every piece of the steak. The way the food was explained the combos the offers everything was extraordinary. We also got a cake with complementary sparkles to celebrate our anniversary. Itโ€™s definitely a remarkable experience and a highly recommended place.

I enjoyed myself on my date. The service was great and they were friendly. The atmosphere was light and relaxed. The food was enough I feel they were good portions. I went back the next day to try new things and once again I was greeted with kindness and sat quickly and had another great experience with a friend of mine.

I had a really great experience at Kona Grill! The food was amazing and I honestly had no complaints at all. I ordered the sweet chili glazed salmon over fried rice with a side of asparagus, along with the avocado egg rolls, and everything was so good. The flavors were on point and the portions were perfect. I also got an espresso martini and it was really good too. The atmosphere was amazing! Itโ€™s just a really nice, clean establishment with a great vibe. Itโ€™s definitely the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy your food, and have a good time. Our server Alexa was absolutely amazing, like 10/10. She was very attentive, very sweet, and really knowledgeable about the menu. She came to the table the perfect amount of times to make sure we were good without being overbearing, which I really appreciated. We also got to meet the manager and he was very nice and well-mannered. He took the time to come over and chat with my friend and me for a bit, which made the experience feel even more welcoming. This was actually my fourth time going, and it was my friendโ€™s first time, so itโ€™s definitely becoming one of my regular spots. Iโ€™ll definitely be back!
